Rep. Maxine Waters isn’t known for her subtly. She frequently spouts off absurdities and is a massive hypocrite, and she’s been caught red-handed.
For all of her anti-rich rhetoric, Waters certainly has no problem taking stockpiles of money from them through political action committees — to the tune of over $200,000, in fact.
As chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, which provides oversight and regulation for the financial industry, she’s gorged herself on cash from special interest PACs.
It is being reported that insurance-aligned PACs have given the most to Waters, with companies like MetLife, State Farm, Primerica, USAA and others donating to her campaign.
The Washington Free Beacon even notes, “TransUnion’s PAC gave $5,000 to Waters earlier this year, just before its CEO testified before her committee about the company’s shortcomings.”
In the world of anti-Trump Maxine Waters, however, there’s a set of rules for her and another set for everyone else. She’s taken her hypocrisy to the level of a twisted art form.
