An Afghan asylum-seeker was arrested Saturday after he stabbed at least 10 people outside a subway station in Villeurbanne, a suburb of Lyon, France, Breitbart News reported. One of those stabbed was killed and three others are in critical condition.
Police said they did not think the attack was terror-related. The 33-year-old suspect had applied for asylum in France and was awaiting a response.
It wasn’t clear whether the attacker knew any of the victims. Police searched for accomplices after arresting the attacker but have not made further arrests.
As the left participates in a frenzied push for gun control, it’s worthy of remembering that there are other ways to attack and kill people.
