The left is determined to keep scoring political points off the so-called “scandal” surrounding Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination and confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who garnered national attention by accusing Kavanaugh of sexual assault, has been nominated for the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award by Congresswoman Jackie Speier, a Democrat from California. Speier tweeted that Ford is a “true American (s)hero who sacrificed so much to do what was right for our country”.
In the same tweet, Speier also praised Ford for pursuing truth and justice, apparently ignoring the fact that the FBI’s supplemental investigation on Kavanaugh turned up nothing. But this is all Democrats have now: Drudging up old talking points because they don’t have anything substantive to offer America.
Created in 1989, recipients of the Profile in Courage Award include former President Barack Obama and a who’s who list of mostly liberal activists and politicians. The award is decided by a 13-member committee established by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation.
