President Trump may have another court victory on his hands and the Democrats can’t stand it. They are foaming at the mouth, but this would be a win for America.
Trump, who supports a court case overturning the Affordable Care Act (i.e. ObamaCare), tweeted that should the case go his way, he will continue protecting coverage for pre-existing conditions.
“I was the person who saved Pre-Existing Conditions in your Healthcare … while at the same time winning the fight to rid you of the expensive, unfair and very unpopular Individual Mandate,” he tweeted.
He also said that “if Republicans win in court and take back the House of Representatives, your healthcare … will become the best ever, by far” and vowed to “always protect your Pre-Existing Conditions.”
ObamaCare has remained a deeply divisive issue, with some Americans accepting it as a viable way to deliver health insurance and others seeking major reform or an outright replacement.
Trump knows we can do better than ObamaCare. We should all hope that the court declares this disastrous law unconstitutional — then we’ll have the opportunity to pass a far superior plan.
