Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) just turned. If the chance presents itself, he will cast a decisive vote. This news has sent shockwaves through Washington, DC.
Romney has been unfairly critical of President Trump lately, however, he has found at least one place of agreement: Going after the Mexican drug cartels following the cold-blooded murder of nine Americans.

Romney also stated that he stands ready to “help in that effort,” he told reporters. He hopes the United States is “called upon to do so” — because there must be a joint operation to take out these cartels once and for all.
This is a rare moment for the contentious relationship between Romney and Trump. Since arriving in the U.S. Senate, he has become a thorn in the president’s side every step of the way.
