Former Vice President and current 2020 Democrat candidate Joe Biden finally admitted the truth about the widely criticized crime bill he authored in 1994.
The 1994 Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act was initiated as part of President Clinton’s anti-drug campaign.
The legislation has recently come under fire from liberal activists for stoking racial tensions more than solving actual problems.
Biden just admitted that he “got stuck with it because I was the chairman of the judiciary committee, writing most of the drug legislation that occurred in that period”

This recent admission is a complete 180 from comments he made in 2016, claiming that he was “not at all” ashamed of his role in passing the bill.
