Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) just shocked Congress with a major statement. The impeachment witch-hunt against President Trump has been exposed, yet again, as a total sham.
During his closing remarks at a House Intelligence Committee hearing, Rep. Jordan made it abundantly clear what this witch-hunt is all about: The Democrats’ unwillingness to accept the results of the 2016 election.
“Speaker of the House called the President an imposter,” said Jordan. “The guy who 63 million people voted for — the guy who won an electoral college landslide, the Speaker calls an imposter.”
Jordan continued: “That’s what’s happened to our country, to this Congress. The Speaker’s statement says it all. The Democrats have never accepted the will of the American people. Democrats don’t trust the American people.”
The Ohio Republican went on to explain — in no uncertain terms — why voters sent Trump to Washington, DC, in the first place. And it was not to get along with the political establishment or uphold the status quo.
“The American people, who wanted to send someone to this town who was willing to shake it up a bit, they [Democrats] don’t trust that,” said Jordan. “They have been out to get the President since the day he was elected.”
