An innocent man is dead, and top Democrats stand accused of letting it happen. They don’t want this news to get out as we head into an election year, but the story is blowing up.
According to an official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), local policy in King County, Washington, is responsible for releasing an illegal immigrant from prison just three weeks before he committed murder.
“ICE claimes suspect Carlos Daniel Carillo-Lopez was in jail about three weeks before the murder after being arrested for a different crime,” reported Q13 Fox. Then, shockingly, he was released without ICE being notified.
ICE spokeswoman Tanya Roman said, “This is yet again another example of sanctuary policies shielding criminal aliens who prey on people in their own and other communities from immigration enforcement.”
After Carillo-Lopez’s release, 18-year-old Josue Flores was killed in Bellvue — the city’s first murder in about three years. Carillo-Lopez was “arrested again in Bellevue for charges unrelated to the murder,” however he was again let go.
This was even after ICE requested an immigration hold. He was eventually arrested again and charged with Flores’ murder, however, the polices of King County Executive Dow Constantine and other Democrats made it nearly impossible.
