A Fox News star has returned to the network after an extended leave of absence. President Trump’s fans are shocked — millions of Americans never expected this to happen.
After taking time s off to donate part of his liver to his ill sister, Ed Henry is back with a new Saturday program called ‘America’s Newsroom with Ed Henry,’ an announcement he made during an interview with Neil Cavuto.
Henry said: “I just wanted to get back into it, it’s the political season, it’s here — 12 noon Eastern, Saturday and Sunday, let’s call in and cover the news, fair and balanced, remember that? Let’s go straight at it.”
During his first show on Saturday, Henry covered a wide variety of topics, from the 30th anniversary of the Berlin Wall’s fall to the Democrats’ impeachment push against President Trump. He was clearly pleased to be reporting again.
“I’m Ed Henry, and it’s my privilege to be broadcasting from Fox News Channel’s global headquarters here in New York to unveil a new show” that has “a simple mission, bring you the news, tell it straight,” he said.
As Henry announced on his Instagram account, his show can be seen on Fox News “Saturday 12 noon ET & Sunday 12 noon ET,” which a timeslot after ‘Fox & Friends’ and Cavuto’s program.
