A spokesperson for former Vice President Joe Biden said Monday that no matter the outcome in New Hampshire’s primary, Biden will remain in the presidential race.
“Electability, frankly, is about who can win in places like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania,” Symone Sanders said.
Biden came in fourth in the Iowa caucuses and fifth in New Hampshire, leading many to speculate that his candidacy may be collapsing.
He is expected to win South Carolina’s primary on February 29, which means that the first three Democrat primaries will have had three different winners.
It is possible that he will fail to win South Carolina, however. Recent reports have said that his support in the black community has dropped 50% in recent weeks.
