Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is fuming — her party is devastated after a major ruling. A federal judge just said “no” to their entire charade.
U.S. District Judge John Koeltl called a lawsuit brought against the Trump campaign by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) “entirely divorced” from reality. The DNC’s claims were ridiculous on their face.
Unsurprisingly, the DNC alleged — without any evidence whatsoever — that the Trump campaign participated in the hacking of DNC documents presumably carried out by the Russian government.
Judge Koeltl ruled that the president’s 2016 team “did not participate in any wrongdoing in obtaining the materials in the first place,” and he even exonerated WikiLeaks, the other defendant, for releasing the hacked information.
He said that “at no point does the DNC allege any facts … to show that any of the defendants — other than the Russian Federation — participated in the theft of the DNC’s information.”
In response to the ruling, Trump tweeted, “This is really big ‘stuff’ especially coming from a highly respected judge who was appointed by President Clinton. The Witch Hunt Ends!”
