Democrat presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden made another gaffe in Iowa Saturday when he claimed that Parkland school shooting took place while he was in office even though he had left office more than a year earlier.
“Those kids in Parkland came up to see me when I was vice president,” Biden told reporters, adding that members of Congress were “basically cowering” and didn’t want to face the students.
Biden has become a gaffe machine in recent weeks. He told supporters that “poor kids” were “just as bright and just as talented as white kids.” He also flubbed numerous statistics during a primary debate and told an Ohio audience, “We choose truth over facts.”
