Democrats are getting really, really worried about their majority.
In fact, they are pretty sure they’re going to lose it. They’re so scared that they’re going to lose it that they just added SEVEN new members to their list of endangered House Democrats.
The idea here is that the rest of the party will deflect blame away from these people and prop them up as much as possible. When these 32 vulnerable Dems go down, so does the liberal majority. The Democratic Campaign Committee REALLY doesn’t want that to happen.
The seven House Democrats newly added to the list are:
– Greg Stanton, Arizona
– Sanford Bishop, Georgia
– Bill Foster, Illinois
– Dan Kildee, Michigan
– Josh Gottheimer, New Jersey
– Marcy Kaptur, Ohio
– Jennifer Wexton, Virginia
To be honest, I’m surprised democrats have only identified 32 representatives as “highly vulnerable.” The latest poll from the Trafalgar Group showed that 55.7% of likely general election voters would go with the Republican candidate, compared to just 42.2% who said they would back the Democrat.
