Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has caused controversy from the beginning with her anti-Semitic, anti-Israel comments. Now, major resignation news has dropped. It’s about time.
Hundreds of protesters flooded Times Square in New York City to demand that Rep. Omar be kicked off the House Foreign Affairs Committee. “Ilhan Omar is a huge threat to our national security,” said one protester.
The protesters, many of them Jewish, joined the rally to call out Omar’s rampant anti-Semitism and her downplaying of the 9/11 terrorist attack that took 3,000 American lives.
“In my lifetime, I cannot think of any other politician who presents a bigger threat to the alliance between the US and Israel and to America’s Jews,” said Joe Diamond, the rally’s organizer.
“This woman is an ardent antisemite, and she doesn’t even try to hide it,” continued Diamond, a New York native, who was pleased with the rally’s turnout that included award-winning activist Laurie Cardoza-Moore.
“We have to utilize every mechanism of media to wake up Americans about the vile hatred of this woman. Christians should also be alarmed,” said Cardoza-Moore during her speech.
