Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was just hauled into court. The radical congresswoman is finally being held accountable — it’s happening and not a moment too soon.
Judicial Watch, the influential government watchdog group, has filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Omar “calling for a full investigation into potential crimes tied to allegations that Rep. Ilhan Omar may have married her biological brother.”
“The evidence is overwhelming Rep. Omar may have violated the law and House rules,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. The group’s press release went on to describe their allegations in detail.
Noting the “substantial, compelling and, to date, unrefuted evidence” against Omar, Judicial Watch listed “perjury, immigration fraud, marriage fraud, state and federal tax fraud, and federal student loan fraud” as reason for further investigation.
Of particular concern is the potential “immigration fraud scheme” that she committed. “It appears that Rep. Omar married her brother in order to assist his emigration to the United States from the United Kingdom,” read the release.
Judicial Watch provided an exhaustive timeline to support their claim, which was compiled by investigative reporter David Steinberg over the course of three years of research. It is time for the House of Representatives to act.
