Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) just finally got what she deserved all along. The radical congresswoman is in shock, but President Trump is happy.
After a string of anti-Israel statements — including her public support for the movement boycotting Israel — Omar has been officially banned from the country, according to Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely.
“Israel has decided — we won’t enable the members of Congress to enter the country. We won’t allow those who deny our right to exist in this world to enter Israel. In principle this is a very justified decision,” he said on Israeli radio.
At the time, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was also part of the ban, however, she was then offered entry in order to visit her elderly grandmother. Tlaib has since turned down the offer, claiming she won’t do it “under these oppressive conditions.”
Israel issued the ban for both politicians shortly after President Trump encouraged the country to take a stand. “It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep.Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people,” he said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also commented and made it clear why Omar and Tlaib were banned. He said, “The two-member congressional visitation plan shows that their intent is to hurt Israel and increase its unrest against it.”
