Host Marc Lamont Hill had originally asked Omar whether she thought Democrat Presidential hopeful Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) was making things easier for Trump to get re-elected when she challenged frontrunner Joe Biden about his relationships with former segregationist politicians.
“I thought it was brilliant,” Omar answered. “As you know, I find comfort in discomfort.”
Omar repeatedly said that she thought politicians often made policies without thinking about the way they could impact people for years afterward.
