With Hurricane Dorian bearing down on Florida, false information is already beginning to spread.
One vicious rumor has now been debunked. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has moved to crush rumors about its operations.
The bottom line? ICE will not conduct searches at hurricane shelters. ICE has a mission and contrary to the left’s opinion, it isn’t to endanger people.
This policy has been in place for years, ICE regularly suspends operations when hurricanes hit.
A spokesman for ICE said it’s “not a time to compound one tragedy upon another by spreading fear in our community with false rumors of ICE operations.”
The focus is on making sure everyone is safe. Trump has declared a state of emergency in anticipation of the destruction.
