News is spreading nationwide about Hunter Biden’s corruption blowup — the rumors were true. Former Vice President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign is silent.
According to a recently unearthed CBS News story from 2008, Hunter Biden was by an “undisclosed amount” to consult for MBNA, a banking company, while his father “supported legislation that was promoted by the credit card industry.”
The story, which became an issue during the 2008 Obama-Biden campaign, has come back to haunt the Bidens as pressure builds for an investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings and his father’s alleged involvement.
The article also noted that “MBNA employees have poured more than $200,000 into Biden’s Senate campaigns over the past two decades, making donors working for the credit card company the senator’s largest source of campaign money.”
This further calls into question whether the Bidens have too closely mixed politics and business for personal gain, which should sound the alarm for Americans heading into the 2020 election.
The irony here: While Democrats pursue a farcical, potentially unconstitutional impeachment probe on President Trump over his phone call with the Ukrainian president, there’s a real scandal brewing for the Bidens.
