A new report alleges that Hunter Biden and his business partner Devon Archer profited from Biden’s position at Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas company, and that Biden deferred $3.4 million to Archer’s company over the 18 months he worked at Burisma.
According to the report, Burisma paid Archer and Biden $83,000 each per month for “consulting services between the two companies. The report also says Burisma hired Biden as a protection against persecution.
State Department official George Kent testified earlier this week that he raised concerns about Hunter Biden’s position with Burisma being a conflict of interest for Joe Biden, but his concerns were never addressed because Joe Biden was dealing with his other son Beau Biden’s cancer treatment at the time.
Hunter Biden also admitted in an interview that it was probably a mistake to take the Burisma job. He maintains that he didn’t do anything wrong while working for Burisma.
It sure looks like the Bidens might have been running a scheme in which Burisma was made to pay millions of dollars to grease their way past scrutiny and be allowed to do business without the U.S. paying too much attention. And that Hunter Biden got a whole lot of money doing it.
