Colin Kaepernick’s protest against the Betsy Ross flag is a farce. Further proof of this emerged as old Obama photos showing that Obama’s 2nd inauguration had Betsy Ross flags placed everywhere surfaced on the internet.
Fox News reports:
“While Democrats and media pundits pounce to decry the Betsy Ross flag as racially problematic — with one even likening the symbol to Nazi swastikas — the very same flag flew prominently during then-President Barack Obama’s second inauguration ceremony in 2013.”
Kaepernick must have forgetted the internet exists. Despite big tech’s best efforts, you can go back and find things. The memory holes of 1984 still aren’t working.
Washington Examiner contributor Byron York tweeted:
“Attention Nike: The flag Colin Kaepernick told you was unacceptable on your shoes was displayed rather prominently at Barack Obama’s inauguration.”
The argument that the flag is racist is revisionist and insane. This controversy was nothing but a publicity stunt.
People should not forget this. Kaepernick shouldn’t be able to say things like that and face no accountability.
