James Comey, who made the decision to not charge Hillary Clinton for her mishandling of classified information, has been convicted of violating FBI policies.
His decision to not charge Clinton was a questionable one at best, corrupt at worst.
But furthermore, his overall conduct at the FBI was out of line. Comey has been crying foul since being removed as FBI director. But now we know there was a reason for that decision.
Comey leaked information to the media about a conversation with Trump.
But the borderline criminal action occurred when Comey retained memos marked classified after he was removed from his position.
The fact that he’s not in jail yet shows that if you have the right beliefs, there are no consequences for mishandling classified intel.
