Ticket prices for Bill and Hillary Clinton’s newest speaking tour have plummeted, signaling that their influence among Democrats may at last be fading.
In Inglewood, California, tickets were listed for as little as $2 for “An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.”
Even the best seats in the venue could be purchased for just $92 — a shockingly low price in light of the Clintons’ history of charging hundreds of thousands of dollars to do speaking engagements.
The Clintons’ speaking tour has struggled to draw crowds despite also featuring a series of special guest hosts including the likes of Ben Stiller and Star Jones.
One factor hurting sales may be criticisms that the Clintons have avoided discussing some of today’s most controversial issues.
