On Tuesday, Rep. Trey Gowdy learned that he would be leading a new joint investigation into the Justice Department’s questionable actions in 2016. Gowdy believes DOJ and FBI decisions last year “led to a host of unanswered questions” — and he’s about to get answers.
It is time to put trust back in our justice system no matter who is involved. It’s bad news for the swamp and good news for America. Thank you, Mr. Gowdy. (Read More…)
On Tuesday, the House Judiciary and Oversight committees announced that they are launching a probe into the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server last year. To add insult to injury, House Intelligence committee also announced a joint investigation into the shocking Uranium One deal.
Many conservatives have been disappointed that the Republicans, in spite of major wins last election, have not gone on the offensive against corrupt Democrats, especially when it comes to the narrative about Russian “collusion.” That’s about to change.
These scandals, in addition to the revelations that the Clinton campaign paid for the discredited “Trump dossier,” are damaging to the Clintons, the Russian collusion narrative, and the Democrat Party. The wheels of justice are starting to turn. They have gotten away with too much for too long. Lock them up. (Read More…)
Bill O’Reilly informed reporters on Tuesday that a tape exists that shows a lawyer offering clients $200,000 to make sexual harassment allegations against then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.
O’Reilly stated, “It exists. We have urged the person who has the tape to hand it over to the U.S. attorney, because my investigative team believes there are three separate crimes on the audio tape.”
It’s worth noting that O’Reilly has his own credibility problems when it comes to sexual harassment cases — just this week, he had to walk back a statement he made about former colleague Eric Bolling’s son in the context of speculating about false allegations of harassment.
If the alleged tape does indeed exist, it is evidence of a criminal conspiracy. Seeking to profit from false allegations not only smears an innocent man, but it diminishes the public’s trust in the allegations of those who have actually have been harassed. Let’s hope that any perpetrators of such schemes are brought to justice. (Read More…)
New reports show that certain 2016 Clinton campaign staffers are still being paid with campaign funds almost a year after Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election.
Given that these payments have occurred since Clinton’s defeat in November, one has to wonder how the campaign and its associated super PACs can still afford to provide compensation to some of its key officers.
With the revelation of the Uranium One scandal and the news that the Clinton campaign hired “opposition research” firm Fusion GPS in order to assemble a now discredited Trump “Dossier,” the fact that Clinton’s defeated campaign has continued to pay staffers long after the end of the election is sure to raise more than a few eyebrows. Is Hillary planning a comeback or is the election money funding her book tour? (Read More…)
Fox News host Sean Hannity is calling for FBI Director Robert Mueller, a Republican, to resign as special counsel in the Trump-Russian collusion investigation, citing “conflicts of interest” due to involvement with the real Russian collusion case involving the Obama Administration and Uranium One.
Hannity wants those involved to be held accountable and so do I. Mueller knew what was going on when more than 20 percent of U.S.-held uranium reserves were transferred to Russia — but he did nothing to stop it.
Hannity said: “There is no way the American people can trust Robert Mueller to investigate anything Russian-related. To be fair and impartial is impossible because of his past role in this. He should resign immediately tonight.” I couldn’t agree more. (Watch Here…)
In a testament to the depths to which Democrats will descend to discredit their opponents, reports reveal that Hillary Clinton paid intelligence firm Fusion GPS $5.6 million to gather slanderous and discredited information on her Republican opponent.
Before Trump could even raise his right hand and swear to “faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States,” the left was inventing outrageous narratives featuring Trump as a Kremlin-controlled commander in chief. Some of the false allegations included a lurid sexual encounter and “deep” (unproven) “ties” between Russia and Trump.
2016 will go down as an election year rife with smear campaigns. The “Trump dossier” takes the cake. The Clintons, the DNC, and Fusion GPS should be held accountable for the falsehoods and accusations in this report.
Even more importantly, the media, which gave this absurd piece of slander a platform, should be utterly discredited by this episode. It’s should be apparent to anyone watching closely that the swamp is real, and it encompasses not just the government, but the media as well. (Read More…)
