Many Republicans are predicting a midterm election red wave in 2022, one so big that it may sweep both chambers of Congress and end unified Democrat control in America’s capitol.
The best thing about this is the fact that the anticipated republican surge doesn’t REALLY have all that much to do with amazing republican candidates. It simply shows just how much America does NOT trust the democrats.
Biden’s premature evacuation in Afghanistan, rising fuel prices, inflation, supply chain problems, and plummeting approval in Kamala Harris are all reasons that American voters are claiming will keep them from voting blue in 2022.
Needless to say, this is music to the GOP’s ears.
The House is being viewed as the more vulnerable of the two chambers to a republican wave, as democrats currently hold a very thin five-seat majority there. However, a takeover of the Senate does NOT seem that far-fetched either, especially given the current 50-50 split there.
