Poor Nancy Pelosi. Sitting in California, watching her position as the House Majority Leader go up in smoke from across the country.
Even Nancy knows it’s about to be a VERY tough go of things for liberals in Virginia.
Not one, not two, but THREE Virginia Democrat incumbents are gearing up for battles that they’re probably not going to win.
Democrat Representatives Elaine Luria, Abigail Spanberger, and Jennifer Wexton have all reportedly raised big sums to prepare for their Republican challengers in November.
But it might not matter.
All three are targets for Republicans who are hoping to ride the wave created by Republican Glenn Youngkin’s winning gubernatorial bid.
Youngkin won both Spanberger’s district and Luria’s district by significant margins.
Obviously, that’s not good news for the two ladies hoping to keep their jobs.
Wexton’s district is far from a lock as well, as Youngkin only fell short in that district by about 1.5%.
Republicans see all three districts as seats that they absolutely CAN flip, and probably should.
