According to reports, top Republican donors are threatening Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) with a withdrawal of funding unless Republicans “get their act together.”
The do-nothing Republican Congress has been criticized in no uncertain terms by President Trump. Many donors are worried that unless the Republicans pass some kind of tax reform or conservative legislation, the Democrats will win back Congress in 2018.
Republican fundraiser Dan K. Eberhart summarized donor opinions well when he said, “This is the best map Republicans have had going into an election in 100 years. I hate the idea of squandering this opportunity through a lack of legislative accomplishment.” The political games must stop. (Watch Here…)
A recently-released audio recording from a 2015 New York Police Department (NYPD) sting operation, provides strong evidence of Harvey Weinstein’s crimes. On the tape, Italian model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez is heard asking Weinstein why he groped her during a prior meeting. He responded simply: “Oh please… I’m used to that.”
This week, Weinstein has lost his job, his reputation and his wife. The allegations continue to mount against him, including 3 rape accusations. While he “sincerely apologize[s] for…caus[ing] a lot of pain,” his comments don’t serve as an adequate apology to his victims who will have to live with the effects of his actions forever. After staying silent for 5 days following the Harvey Weinstein allegations, Hillary Clinton said in a prepared statement, “I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein. The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated… Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior.”
Many are criticizing the former secretary of state for claiming to sympathize with Weinstein’s victims despite remaining silent when her husband, Bill Clinton, faced similar allegations. Where was her support for Bill’s victims? Instead of supporting them, Hillary and her entourage waged war on them.
Harvey Weinstein and Bill Clinton have both gotten away with sexual crimes for years, because of their powerful status and friends in high places. The question now is, what moral standing does Hillary have to denounce Weinstein? The answer? None. They all deserve to rot together in jail. (Read More…)
NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka has no patience for the disrespect on display today throughout the league, and he has a message for athletes who are protesting the National Anthem: “If you don’t respect our country, then you shouldn’t be in this country playing football.”
Well said, Iron Mike. He’s right. Football is a sport that fans watch to enjoy and take their minds away from stress and politics. At the same time, it’s a pastime that is only made possible by the sacrifices of our troops and the freedom provided by our Constitution.
The NFL Commissioner has caved, most likely due to ratings, and announced that all players and coaches should stand during the National Anthem. It is time for the NFL to stop disrespecting America, the flag, and our troops. If they don’t like it, I hear the Canadian Football League is hiring. (Watch Here…)
On Monday, liberal actor George Clooney stated that he had “never seen any” of Harvey Weinstein’s alleged predatory behavior in over 20 years of knowing him.
Despite these words, Clooney admitted that he heard rumors about Weinstein’s behavior as far back as the 1990s. He initially cast these rumors off as the work of jealous and sexist actors who thought that Weinstein’s accusers got their movie roles because they slept with someone powerful.
The Harvey Weinstein story exposes the true corruption in Hollywood. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, some celebrities are still covering for the movie mogul. Why, with so many people allegedly knowing of Weinstein’s degenerate behavior, would no one step up and expose his crimes? This is sickening. (Read More…)
According to a close family friend, Bill warned his wife about her book What Happened? Bill allegedly predicted that her finger-pointing and blame-shifting would come across as “bewildered, angry, and confused.” Of course, Hillary rejected her husband’s advice, and the power couple have reportedly refused to speak to one another since the irreconcilable incident.
According to Hillary Clinton’s biography editor Ed Klein: “Before Hillary sent the manuscript to her publisher, she gave it to Bill to read, and he made major changes with a red pencil. But she refused to even read his corrections, and he got so furious that he tossed the entire manuscript into the garbage.”
I have to agree with Bill on this one — but having better judgment than Hillary is nothing to brag about. They deserve each other. (Read More…)
