Closed-door testimony before members of Congress from a former FBI lawyer was just made public, and it’s everything President Trump predicted. He’s been proven right once again about the DC swamp.
Lisa Page, the former FBI lawyer, revealed that Peter Strzok, who served as an FBI agent, worked for special counsel Robert Mueller and had one thing in mind: Impeachment and advancing his own career.
She said, “If it’s going to end in impeachment, that’s kind of a big deal. I mean, put aside who it is, put aside how we feel about it. You know, that’s monumental. People who are on Watergate are still known as somebody who was on Watergate.”
Page and Strzok were also lovers at the time and exchanged several text messages that eventually resulted in Mueller removing Strzok because of the bad optics. In the texts, it’s obvious they felt like their mission was to end Trump’s presidency.
“Maybe you’re meant to stay where you are because you’re meant to protect the country from that menace,” wrote Page in a text to Strzok. She also confirmed that the “menace” they discussed was Trump.
These revelations are exactly why Democrats and their cohorts needed to be investigated while Republicans controlled the House. Unfortunately, with a weak Speaker of the House in Paul Ryan at the time, we’re just now finding out about the treachery.
