This might draw the ire of their boss, but America’s Justice Department may have almost zero choice other than to charge Hunter Biden with tax and gun violations.
I understand it’s not a good look to go after the President of America’s family, but there HAS to be a limit, right?
How much damage can Hunter Biden do to our country before he needs to be held responsible?
Most Americans would tell you that Hunter crossed that line long ago.
Trump-appointed U.S. prosecutor David Weiss is currently deciding on whether or not to charge Hunter for “making a false statement in connection with Biden’s purchase of a firearm at a time he would have been prohibited from doing so because of his acknowledged struggles with drug addiction.”
What this means is that Hunter didn’t disclose he was addicted to drugs in 2018 when attempting to buy a handgun. The background check is an official document, so lying on that part of the process would come with heavy consequences for most Americans.
Hunter Biden doesn’t feel he should be subjected to the same rules as most Americans though. On this issue at least, time will tell if he’s correct or not.
