There has long been rumors that a tape exists on which President Donald Trump can be heard saying the “N-word” in disparaging fashion, a rumor that has been perpetuated by his enemies and rivals, but most especially by former aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman and Trump-hating actor Tom Arnold, among others.
But a recent profile by The New Yorker of Mark Burnett — producer of Trump’s hit show “The Apprentice,” where the “N-word” incident was said to have occurred — would suggest otherwise, based largely off interviews with the men and women who worked on the long-running series.
