A New York financier close to Jeffrey Epstein who has been accused of participating in his sex trafficking operation donated more than $75,000 to Democrat candidates in Congress as well as presidential candidates, according to the Free Beacon.
Glenn Dubin says he is innocent of accusations that he had sex with an underage girl ordered to do so by Jeffrey Epstein. Many of the recipients of money from Dubin have returned the funds or donated the money to women’s charities like those that help victims of domestic violence.
Democrat presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg received the maximum $2,800 contribution from Dubin but hasn’t said he returned the money. Montana Gov. Steve Bullock (Mt.) and Colorado Sen. Michael Bennett also received $1,000 each and haven’t reported returning the money.
Dubin and Epstein had a close personal relationship, including Dubin’s wife Eva Andersson writing on behalf of Epstein when he was released from a previous jail sentence and the Dubin family spending Thanksgiving together after his release.
Court records from a lawsuit against Epstein were unsealed to provide the information about Dubin.
