How does the media get away with constantly pushing this story that Trump is a puppet of Russia? He had missiles launched into Syria just months after taking office, and they landed right near Russian troops. He just announced that his administration will be arming Ukrainian forces against their aggressive neighbors to the north, and now there’s this.
In an interview with Reuters, President Trump alleged that Moscow is undermining the diplomatic maneuvers that the West, and in particular the United States, have made against North Korea. When sanctions were levied against Kim Jong Un’s regime recently, Russian tankers were discovered selling coal to North Korea in violation of those sanctions. Chinese vessels were also supplying North Korea with energy resources a month ago, violating the same agreement.
Trump and Putin are not friendly, and Russia still is not in line with Western goals. It would be nice if the media stopped pushing propaganda so that we can actually learn about what’s going on in the world. (Read More…)
George Soros is seemingly intent on undermining sovereignty, representative democracy, and the rule of law. Here in the states, he funds groups associated with Antifa and Black Lives Matter, and he’s wrapped his tendrils around many other parts of the globe as well. He recently said that he sees nationalism as a great threat to humanity, presumably because nationalism poses a threat to the particular type of globalism that he’s working to create.
But even his home country of Hungary has had enough of him. Soros has been in a bit of a war with Hungarian President Victor Orban, and it just reached a new level. In a piece of legislation made to “Stop Soros,” Hungary just announced that it plans to tax non-profit organizations that facilitate illegal immigration, and potentially prevent promoters of such immigration from entering the country. I don’t think Hungary could make it any more clear that Soros and his bad ideas aren’t welcome there. (Read More…)
$30,000,000,000,000 ($30 trillion). That’s the current value of the stock market. In President Trump’s first year, it’s gone up about $6.6 trillion. It’s clear that Trump is primarily concerned about the American economy, because it increases job growth, builds wealth, and benefits everyone. This is why the Left’s persistent refrain that “Trump is a racist” is just so tiresome.
His son, Eric Trump, pointed out precisely that on Fox and Friends this week. During an interview Eric said, “[My father] does not see race. He’s the least racist person I’ve ever met in my entire life.” Eric followed it up by concluding that his father only sees one color: green. He’s concerned about the economy and helping all Americans. The Left will never give up their whining, but it’s obvious that the President is not motivated by any sort of racial hostility. Anyone who has watched Rep. Trey Gowdy in action knows that he’s smart, well-informed, quick on his feet, and he doesn’t accept nonsense. He pulls no punches, but delivers them in eloquent and forceful blows. So when he takes aim, you know it’s for good reason. In a recent interview with Fox News, Gowdy was discussing Special Counsel Mueller’s subpoena of former-White House strategist Steve Bannon.
Bannon said some remarkably stupid things about the Trump family while liberal journalist Michael Wolff was there to capture his words. After Wolff’s book came out, it seems that Mueller believed Bannon’s comments about Donald Jr.’s meeting with a Russian attorney were worth dragging him before a grand jury to recount. Perhaps so, but Rep. Gowdy has some advice for Mueller.
He said that “If [the FBI] is hinging the entire case on Steve Bannon’s credibility, good luck to the prosecution.” And of course, he’s correct. Bannon has seriously discredited himself in the months since Trump took the White House. (Read More…)
Barack Obama just can’t help himself. Whenever he can, he takes a shot at President Trump, at his tweets, at “American leadership,” or whatever it is that upsets his delicate sensibilities. He’s apparently so perturbed by President Trump, his incredible economic record, his slow and steady dismantling of the Deep State, his successful Tax Reform bill, and so on, that he feels the need to come back and try to ruin it.
The Obama team has just announced that the former President plans to return to politics this year. He made it one whole year! As of right now, there hasn’t been any indication that he will personally run for any office, but he plans on campaigning for other candidates, fund-raising, and getting involved in the DNC. Almost every other President retires and stays relatively quiet, at least for a few years. Not so with Barack — apparently he believes that we can’t get by without him. (Read More…)
We can all exhale a bit. It turns out Americans haven’t completely lost it for Oprah just yet. After Winfrey’s hypocritical Golden Globes sermon, the media was buzzing with the possibility of her running against Trump in 2020. A recent survey poured cold water on that idea, thankfully. According to a Morning Consult/Politico poll, only 24% of voters want Oprah to run, and about 60% think she should stay out of the race.
It might be good if Oprah does run, however, because it could almost guarantee a GOP victory in 2020. Either way, it’s clear that most Americans have their heads on straight. It’s pretty obvious which ones don’t; they’re called liberals. (Read More…)
