Jona Rechnitz, a Brooklyn-based businessman and major donor to New York Mayor Bill De Blasio, is currently testifying in a bribery trial — and what he has to say may interest the people of New York. Rechnitz has claimed that Mayor De Blasio is involved in a pay-to-play corruption scandal stating in open court that he “was giving money to the mayor of New York in exchange for favors.”
Rechnitz claimed he and colleagues told De Blasio fundraiser Ross Offinger, “We’re going to be significant contributors, but we want access. When we call, we want answers.” When asked if this “deal” came to fruition, Rechnitz said he got what he paid for.
We’ll have to wait and see if the citizens of New York City will hold Mayor De Blasio accountable and vote him out. When it comes to government corruption, it isn’t just Washington. Let’s hope NYC helps “drain the swamp.” (Read More…)
Julie Schrock, the mother of Marine Cpl. Max Donahue, who made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan at the age of 23, composed a letter recently that described the impersonal manner in which former President Barack Obama expressed his condolences to Gold Star families.
Schrock said she didn’t get a phone call from Obama, but did receive an impersonal letter that was signed by a computer. Worse, she continued to receive multiple copies of the same computer signed letter time after time in what was described to her by unhelpful government bureaucrats as a “computer glitch.”
Meanwhile, Trump, who has called all the families of fallen U.S. servicemembers personally, is being portrayed by the media as uncompassionate. That’s just one more sign that the press is nothing more than a corrupt branch of the Democratic party. This is sickening. (Read More…)
New information shows that Hillary Clinton’s campaign wasn’t the only entity paying the law firm behind the slanderous Trump dossier; Obama’s campaign organization paid nearly $1 million to the same firm.
Just days ago, it was revealed that Hillary Clinton’s campaign, along with the Democratic National Committee (DNC), paid law firm Perkins Coie to hire Fusion GPS to produce a false dossier on Donald Trump during the election. The dossier was compiled by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele, who reportedly got his information from Russian agents and officials.
Federal Election Commission (FEC) records now show that Obama’s campaign organization, Obama for America, paid almost $1 million to Perkins Coie, which was also representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC. Even more suspicious was the fact that Obama’s campaign made the initial payment to Perkins Coie around the time when the law firm hired Fusion GPS.
Coincidentally, or perhaps not, the spouse of a Fusion GPS employee was working for Obama himself at that time, as a senior communications advisor. It’s been rumored that the Obama administration based its decision to wiretap Trump’s campaign on the Steele dossier — a document that they may have paid to have produced.
This is corruption at the highest levels of government and should be prosecuted. And they thought they would get away with it. Unbelievable. (Read More…)
President Trump’s son-in-law and Senior Advisor Jared Kushner has been busy recently. He returned to the White House on Saturday from an unannounced trip to Saudi Arabia – his third trip to the country this year.
The White House has not disclosed who Kushner met with while in Saudi Arabia or what motive he had. We do know that it is well-documented that Kushner has played a significant role in the new presidential agenda in the Middle East, particularly regarding Israeli-Palestinian relations.
If Kushner is working to build relationships in pursuit of lasting peace between Israel and Palestine, we wish him luck. He’s going to need it. (Read More…)
Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has reaffirmed that she plans on leading the House Democrats for the foreseeable future. This is horrible news for Democrats.
Ever since Hillary Clinton’s massive defeat in November, the Democrats have been scrambling to find new blood, new faces, and new ideas to reverse the party’s declining popularity. Many have called for Pelosi to step down as the leader of the House Democrats.
While Pelosi is stubbornly holding onto the levers of power, she may find herself ousted by her own party if she can’t turn their losing trend around soon. Good riddance. (Read More…)
It was revealed on Tuesday that Marc E. Elias, a lawyer for the Clinton campaign, lied to reporters about the involvement of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) with opposition research firm Fusion GPS, former MI-6 agent Christopher Steele, and the dossier they compiled.
For years, Hillary Clinton’s name has been synonymous with corruption and lies — and now, one of her lawyers is caught up in the mix. Reports state that Elias was the main “middle man” who brokered the deal between Fusion GPS and the DNC to dig up dirt on Donald Trump. Elias and his law firm, Perkins Coie, hired Fusion in April 2016 on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC, and continued that relationship until October of that year, just days before the election.
Instead of taking accountability, Democrats are still trying to distract from their wrongdoing — and denying they had any knowledge of it happening in the first place. Typical move from the left. Divert attention from the real issues and distract with irrelevant “white noise.”
It is unclear if Elias and his colleagues will be held accountable for their actions, but in the meantime, everyone involved with Perkins Coie has remained silent. It’s probably their best option. (Read More…)
