This is his second coronavirus diagnosis, but Louisiana’s Clay Higgins is calling this bout much more severe than his first.
The Republican announced on July 25 that he, his wife, and his son have all contracted the virus; saying that he and his wife already had the “CCP biological attack weaponized virus” back in January 2020.
“I have COVID, Becca has COVID, my son has COVID. Becca and I had COVID before, early on, in January 2020, before the world really knew what it was,” Higgins said. “So, this is our second experience with the CCP biological attack weaponized virus… and this episode is far more challenging.”
Higgins has encouraged others to get the vaccine, though it is unknown whether or not Higgins himself got it.
Even though Higgins is saying this second bout is even worse, the outlook “is positive” he said.
