Bill and Hillary Clinton were just attacked by an angry crowd. The people revolted and shocked the former president and first lady. They never expected this to happen in New York.
Legendary singer-songwriter Billy Joel was playing to a sold-out crowd and Madison Square Garden and tried to dedicate one of his hit songs to the Clintons, but boos immediately started ringing throughout the packed stadium.
Joel called the Clintons his “good friends,” thinking it was safe to do so in New York, but thousands of people had an entirely different take. They didn’t want politics injected into the concert — they just wanted to have a good time.
Bill and Hillary were also present at the show, and you can see them on a video screen holding their composure as the booing continued. Of course, some cheering concert-goers attempted to compete for noise, but it was too much to ignore.
