Clinton era prosecutor Ken Starr says Mueller’s testimony presents a golden opportunity for Republicans.
Fox News reports:
“House Republicans on the Judiciary and Intelligence committees will have a unique opportunity to question former Special Counsel Robert Mueller after Democrats pressed to have him come and testify, according to former independent counsel Ken Starr.”
Republicans will look to kill off any doubts that the Mueller report created.
Democrats took vague language in the report; and ran with it as proof that there was something deeper.
Starr went on to say:
“The Republicans are going to be on the spot. They are being given… a golden opportunity to get some questions answered that we all have.”
Republicans can shut down any arguments on the Mueller report. But they must ask the hard questions and not waste time.
