Legendary director and actor Clint Eastwood just stunned the nation. Yes, he’s doing it, and the Democrats can’t stop him. He’s defying them in a big way.
While Hollywood has vowed to never shoot another movie in Georgia if their new pro-life law is implemented, Eastwood is moving forward with his plan to direct ‘The Ballard of Richard Jewell’ in the state.
This is classic Eastwood. He doesn’t march to the drum of the liberal elite in Hollywood or Washington, DC, and the 89-year-old shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
With all the hysteria over Georgia’s pro-life law, which prohibits abortion if a fetal heartbeat is detected, there’s no doubt he’s received furious phone calls demanding that he move production to another state.
But we know that Eastwood cannot be intimated and despises political correctness. In fact, Americans likely remember when Eastwood appeared at the 2012 Republican National Convention to speak.
He gave a hilarious and quirky monologue with an empty chair next to him. The chair, of course, represented then-President Barack Obama, much to the delight of convention attendees and those of us watching at home.
