Chuck Schumer’s past comes back to haunt him in 2013 video
The government is currently shut down. That’s because no deal was struck on DACA, a policy from the Obama era that allows a group of illegal immigrants known as “Dreamers,” who came to the U.S. as minors, to be protected from deportation. Keep in mind, this was not a duly enacted piece of legislation but rather an executive order from President Obama.
Sen. Chuck Schumer is effectively responsible for bringing the government to the point of shutdown. He and the rest of the Democrats are blaming Republicans, to no one’s surprise. But Schumer must have forgotten that there’s plenty of video of him denouncing the Republican-caused government shutdown in 2013.
At that time, Schumer said that shutting down the government was “holding Americans hostage.” In Schumer’s own words, then, Americans are being held hostage so that Democrats can keep illegal immigrants in the country. Apparently, their hypocrisy knows no bounds. (Read More…)
It’s shocking that Megyn Kelly still has any audience at all. She lost almost all of her Fox News viewer base, she’s been snubbed from the Olympic Games, and she consistently puts her foot in her mouth — about once a week.
Now a head writer from her show, Kevin Bleyer, has exposed the truth about what it’s like working there. His take? It’s dysfunctional, full of hypocrisy and inefficiency, and employees are being treated abusively and used as scapegoats.
That sounds about right, doesn’t it? Kelly probably doesn’t understand why she’s struggling, but everyone else does: because people don’t like her and her anything-to-get-ahead style. This is a chance for her to put her rhetoric into action and make her show the safe space that she promised it would be. We’ll see how she responds. (Read More…)
Caroline Biden, the daughter of Joe Biden’s brother, James, just pleaded guilty to grand larceny. The young Biden, a Georgetown graduate, used a borrowed credit card to charge $100,810.04 from a swanky Greenwich Village pharmacy called Bigelow Apothecaries.
One might think that her rich father or uncle would just loan Caroline the money so that she didn’t have to steal it from an unsuspecting victim. It gets worse too. Caroline couldn’t make it to court for her hearing because she was being treated for “anger” issues. That and she isn’t a big fan of paying rent or complying with police when placed under arrest. Do these behaviors run in the Biden family? (Read More…)
This past Friday, Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor called paramedics to her Washington D.C. home when she began to experience symptoms associated with low blood sugar.
Sotomayor suffers from Type-1 diabetes, and she’s been open about the constant vigilance required to manage the disease while coping with the punishing workload of a Supreme Court justice. She said her most obvious signs of problems are “paleness,” and “feeling lightness.”
Sotomayor made a full recovery, returning to court the same day. We wish her the best in her struggle against diabetes. (Read More…)
Among all the talk about the FISA memo, the unreleased account of the proceedings behind the surveillance measures used against the Trump campaign, just became a little bit scarier. In 2013, Rep. Maxine Waters, a polarizing Democrat from California, made a telling statement about President Obama. Waters stated that Obama was creating a “secret database” that “will have information about everything on every individual.”
Presumably, this means President Trump too, doesn’t it? No wonder there doesn’t seem to have been any problem with the FBI getting a FISA warrant to spy on President Trump’s campaign without any good reason to do so. Thank goodness Obama is gone, but the effects of his administration still linger. (Read More…)
Rep. Gaetz, a Republican from Florida, is convinced that the FISA memo is a real gamechanger. Gaetz believes that when the memo is released, people will “go to jail” because of what they’ve done. He must be on to something because every single House Democrat voted to keep the information in the memo concealed from public view. Gaetz has said that the allegations made in the memo “go to the very foundations of our democracy and they require an immediate release to the public.”
Right on, Rep. Gaetz. Americans are sick of the secrecy, corruption, and arrogance of the Deep State. It’s time to release the memo! (Read More…)
