Lithuania has announced an official warning to the rest of the world: “Communism is a plague” and China is one of the “most imminent threats” to the free world.
The announcement comes after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officially downgraded diplomatic ties with Lithuania after Lithuania opened the “Taiwanese Representative Office in Lithuania.”
This infuriated the CCP, who demanded the office be called “Chinese Tapei.” You see, despite Taiwan having its own government, military, currency, and culture, the CCP insists that they control Taiwan.
In relation to other nations recognizing Taiwan as its own country, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman warned the world that China will “take all necessary measures to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
Lithuanian MP Dovilė Šakalienė told Breitbart London that her country “does not respond well to threats… we’ve been used to threats for more than half a century (under Soviet Rule).”
“We are small but we are tough," she said.
