President Trump just made it official — he said ‘you’re fired’ to one of his top enemies. He issued the notice on social media and liberals are freaking out.
“Can’t believe @ATT keeps the management after yet another @CNN ratings dive. Nobody watching, NO CREDIBILITY! Maybe they should make changes at AT&T?” tweeted Trump.
He was responding to the news that CNN’s ‘Reliable Sources’ program with Brian Stelter “hit an embarrassing new low on Dec. 22, when it averaged only 85,000 viewers among a key age group.”
The ratings drop for Stelter’s show was reported by Fox News, in which the outlet noted the difficulty he is having with “the news demographic of adults age 25-54.”
Much to the dismay of CNN, Trump has been relentless in calling out the network’s failure at competing in the cable news marketplace; he has made them a clear example of media bias.
Now the president is wondering why AT&T — the company that owns CNN — is letting the news network get away with such dismal performance. It is a perfectly valid question.
