Attorney General William Barr just made his move, and the Democrats are in shock. They never expected Barr to destroy their entire anti-Trump narrative on national television.
“Oh, it was clearly spied upon,” said Attorney General Barr in response to a question from NBC’s Pete Williams, confirming the truth in no uncertain terms that the FBI spied upon Trump’s campaign.
“I mean, that’s what electronic surveillance is,” Barr continued. ” I think wiring people up to go in and talk to people and make recordings of their conversations is spying.”
It is really something. If the mainstream media was actually doing its job, then Barr wouldn’t have to point out the obvious — but agenda-driven outlets would rather attack Trump than share the facts.
Barr continued by saying that “going through people’s emails which they did as a result of the FISA warrant” is additional evidence of spying. “They went through everything, you know, from Page’s life.”
Barr is referring to former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. The FBI obtained a warrant from the FISA court to conduct surveillance on him, and there’s reason to believe they left out crucial information to do so.
