The White House experienced a shock as a personal aide to Ivanka Trump tested positive for coronavirus.
The identity of the assistant has remained anonymous but it has been confirmed she had also served as an advisor to President Trump.
The good news is the assistant has been teleworking for two months and stayed out of contact with other administration officials. Both Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, have tested negative.
This latest infection is worrisome as the White House has experienced a rash of infections.
Vice President Mike Pence’s press secretary Katie Miller tested positive for coronavirus. Miller is the wife of Stephen Miller who is a close aide to President Trump.
A personal valet for the President, a U.S. Navy sailor, also tested positive for coronavirus. The string of infections has caused the White House to use several protocols to ensure further infections don’t occur.
