White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki would not rule out COVID vaccine mandates for domestic air travel in the future when she was asked about the possibility on Friday.
“We are always looking at more we can do to protect and save lives,” Psaki said.
A Gallup poll last week showed that 61% of Americans favored a vaccine mandate on airplanes, but only 12% of unvaccinated Republicans agreed.
President Joe Biden bragged about “pulling levers” to get people vaccinated and said, “We’re not taking any measures off the table.”
Biden claimed he had been “patient” with the vaccine-reluctant, and that his patience was “wearing thin.” It seems that people’s freedom is just an unfortunate casualty to Biden’s need for control over people’s health decisions, even though science says the vaccinated are not at significant risk from the unvaccinated.
