U.S. Ambassador and former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore wrote in a Fox News op-ed that President Joe Biden’s debacle in Afghanistan has increased the likelihood of “hot war” between the U.S. and China or Russia.
“The truth is that war against those who use violence and terror to achieve their ends will never be over,” Gilmore wrote.
“We do the American people an injustice by suggesting that we can simply put some Americans and some friends on airplanes and just walk away. The conflict is worldwide and may only be beginning,” he continued.
The “unwillingness to risk war with the United States and its allies and friends” is instrumental in holding back war among world powers and against lesser powers, he argued. If American power and standing is diminished, the whole world will suffer as a result.
The way Biden is going, we will probably lose Ukraine, Taiwan and Hong Kong by Christmas. It just might be time to get him out of there, even if we have to have Kamala Harris in his place.
