Vladimir Putin just officially confirmed it. The Russian president made the call to President Trump — and now we won’t hear the end of the conspiracy theories from the mainstream media.
“Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked President Trump by phone for the U.S. providing information that helped thwart potential terrorist attacks, the Kremlin said,” according to Fox News.
According to reports, two Russian citizens were detained after intelligence — which was received through U.S. Special Forces — suggested that the pair planned to “carry out” attacks.
St. Petersburg was allegedly the main target, particularly “crowded places.” The vital intelligence the United States shared with Russia may have saved countless lives.
While additional details could not be confirmed, Russia’s Investigative Committee “has opened a criminal probe into the case,” so perhaps more information will be released in time.
However, this just underscores the importance of Trump’s relationship with Putin and other world leaders. You don’t have to agree with each other on everything to save innocent lives from destruction.
