A massive scandal surrounding the COVD-19 pandemic just rocked the Biden administration. Evidence has now proven it and the truth must be told.
“Vivek Murthy, President Biden’s pick for surgeon general, cashed in last year as the Chinese coronavirus pandemic gripped the nation, making more than two million dollars off pandemic ‘consulting,” reported Breitbart.
Murthy also served as surgeon general from 2014-2017, during parts of the Obama and Trump administrations. But his financial disclosures should concern everyone, regardless of his qualifications for the role.
Since Biden has brought Murthy back into the fold, it should be noted that Murthy “pulled in nearly $550,000 since Jan. 1, 2020, consulting for Netflix; $410,000 consulting for Airbnb; $400,000 consulting for Carnival Cruise Line; and nearly $300,000 consulting for Estee Lauder.”
This potential conflict should raise a red flag about his propensity for bias as he takes the reins as surgeon general once again. Can he be fair and impartial as he provides guidance on combatting the coronavirus?
The jury is still out on that one, but Americans should demand that Murthy answer hard questions about his consulting work. Republican senators are also sure to do just that during his confirmation hearings.
