A video of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has rocked the nation. It was just uncovered and he is completely humiliated — he never expected this to happen with less than 25 days until the November election.
During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing in 1983, Biden called President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s 1937 push to pack the court “a bonehead idea” and a “terrible mistake to make.” He said it put into question the court’s “independence.”
Flash forward to the year 2020 and Biden is running for president. “They’ll know my position on court-packing when the election is over,” he recently said. He even went so far as to say people “don’t deserve” to know his view.
And, if his blatant flip-flop wasn’t enough, Biden is also accusing Trump and Republicans of “court-packing” for simply trying to fill a Supreme Court vacancy left by the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It is entirely constitutional and appropriate.
Biden appears desperate now. He has tried to turn the table on Republicans and that has failed — and a damning video from 1983 has come back to haunt him. The Trump campaign should play it nonstop until the election.
This is also a reminder of how long Biden has been in politics. His political career has spanned decades and he has nothing to show for it. As Trump is fond of saying, he has done more in 47 months than Biden has in 47 years.
