Fox News superstar Tucker Carlson just confirmed the rumors on national television. Millions of viewers are stunned — this means ‘goodbye’ and he isn’t playing around.
During one of his famous monologues this week, Carlson concluded that the impeachment witch-hunt against President Trump is “over” and “Democrats lost.” He also said that “even Adam Schiff may be coming around.”
In fact, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) recently appeared on CNN and appeared to start walking back the effort he’s dedicated himself to for weeks. Instead of outright calling for impeachment, he was far more nuanced.
“I want to discuss this with my constituents and my colleagues before I make a final judgment on it,” he told Jake Tapper. He was then asked by Tapper about his statement that Trump’s conduct is “far more serious than what Nixon did.”
However, Schiff continued to strike a balance. “Well, I certainly think that the evidence that’s been produced overwhelmingly shows serious misconduct by the president,” he said, before repeating that he wants to speak with others first.
This is a far cry from the Schiff who was calling for Trump’s head just a few days ago, but Carlson said reality has finally caught up with Democrats. Imagining that “CNN’s primetime lineup somehow speaks for America” hasn’t worked.
