Fox News superstar Tucker Carlson just confirmed the rumors and Fox News fans are stunned. Millions of people across the country were already skeptical, and now Carlson has exposed it all.
“Dissent used to be a defining feature of American life, but no more,” said Carlson during his show this week. “Now, we have mandatory consensus. Masks are good. Anyone who questions the utter goodness of masks is bad.”
Here, Carlson is addressing the pro-mask hysteria — as if wearing one is a foolproof preventative measure for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). An entire subculture has grown up around the mask and it is practically cultlike.
Even a top doctor at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is participating in it. “I might even go so far as to say that this face mask is more guaranteed to protect me against COVID than when I take a COVID vaccine,” said CDC Director Robert Redfield.
Tucker played this clip on his show to underscore exactly the kind of narrative that is being pushed. How could wearing a mask be better than a vaccine? Well, logically, it can’t be — especially if the vaccine is expected to work as advertised.
Now, this isn’t to say that a mask can’t be a helpful tool, however, Carlson is right to show skepticism over the bullying and scare tactics. “What they’re really telling you is that masks are magic,” said Carlson.
