Fox News host Tucker Carlson accused conservative groups during his show on Friday night of protecting big tech companies like Google after taking contribution money from them.
Carlson reported that Americans for Prosperity, a Koch brothers-funded group, placed ads that targeted Republican and Democrat state attorneys general who were investigating tech giants for antitrust violations.
Other ads urged members of the Senate Judiciary Committee to oppose antitrust legislation aimed at breaking up tech giants.
Carlson said the Koch brothers “quietly” spent $10 million on the effort and also implicated other conservative groups like the Heritage Foundation, American Conservative Union, and AEI.
He also reported that Google gave money to 22 conservative or right-leaning organizations with ties to the Kochs.
